The 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) is set to take place on September 4-5, 2024, at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This year's forum, themed ‘Agile Governments... Innovative Communication,’ promises to be a landmark event, bringing together over 250 speakers and experts from around the globe. The event will feature a comprehensive program, including 15 main sessions and inspirational talks, alongside 135 side activities distributed across 17 stages.
Organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), IGCF 2024 will address critical issues in government communication and provide a platform for exploring new solutions. With the involvement of more than 35 national, regional, and global partners, the forum's agenda includes 40 capacity-building training sessions, 29 youth-focused discussions, and 28 activities on the Gov. Talks and Gov. Dialogues platforms.

IGCF 2024 aims to highlight innovative communication strategies and their impact on societal development. The forum will also feature 20 publications from academic institutions showcased on the ‘Researchers’ platform, serving as a significant knowledge hub for media professionals, researchers, and students.
The event's diverse activities will cover a range of topics, including the economic impact of communication, the role of artificial intelligence, and the challenges posed by emerging technologies. The forum will also offer targeted workshops and training sessions to enhance skills in communication, media, and creative thinking.
Previous editions of IGCF have attracted over 69,000 visitors and 790 speakers from 90 countries, reinforcing its role as a vital platform for fostering innovation and advancing communication strategies. This year's forum continues this tradition by providing an exceptional space for networking, learning, and sharing innovative ideas in government communication.
