Guns N’ Roses to rock India after 12 years with a show on May 17

Famous American rock band Guns N’ Roses is coming back to India after 12 years. The band will perform live in Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on May 17, 2025.

In the past, India had a special season for music concerts, but now big music stars visit often. Many singers like Maroon 5, Coldplay, Alan Walker, Green Day, and Shawn Mendes have already performed here. Now, Guns N’ Roses is the latest band to announce a show in India, making their fans very happy.

The band members include Axl Rose, who sings and plays piano, Duff McKagan, who plays the bass, and Slash, who is the lead guitarist. At the concert, they will sing their most popular songs, such as Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o’ Mine, Shadow of Your Love, November Rain, and Madagascar.

Tickets for the concert will be available from March 19. The band shared the news on Instagram, writing, “We’re coming to India. This is going to be special. May 17, Mumbai.”

One of the event organizers said, “Guns N’ Roses has been a big part of music history. Their songs are loved by people of all ages. It is a proud moment to bring them back to India. Their music brings people together and has left a deep mark in rock history.”

Guns N’ Roses is one of the most popular rock bands ever. Their first album, Appetite for Destruction, released in 1987, became a record-breaking success. It is the best-selling debut album in the U.S. and the 11th best-selling album of all time.

From 2016 to 2019, their Not In This Lifetime... Tour became the fourth highest-earning concert tour in history. In 1991, they released Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, which quickly became very popular and reached the top two spots on the Billboard 200 music charts.

Even today, Guns N’ Roses is one of the most listened-to rock bands worldwide, with 24 million people streaming their music every month on Spotify. After their big reunion, they even performed at Coachella, one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
