Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday following a brief stay after fainting at his home on Tuesday night. The incident, which caused concern among fans, prompted immediate medical attention and his admission for observation.
Upon leaving the hospital, Govinda addressed the media, reassuring fans about his condition. He explained that the episode was a result of overexertion and fatigue from intense physical activity. “I’m doing fine now. I just overworked myself and got fatigued. Yoga and pranayama are really good. Heavy workouts can be a bit tough. I was trying to improve my personality, but I think it’s better to stick to yoga and pranayama,” he said.
The actor emphasized his preference for yoga and pranayama over strenuous exercise, highlighting the benefits of these practices in maintaining physical and mental wellness.
Lalit Bindal, Govinda’s lawyer and close friend, confirmed that the actor was discharged after doctors reviewed his test reports, all of which were normal. “He has been really busy for almost a month, and that may have caused him to lose consciousness. The disorientation was also due to his hectic schedule over the past few days. The doctor has advised him to rest and take proper care of his diet. He is home and doing well. He has also thanked his fans for all their wishes,” Bindal said.
This incident has once again highlighted the importance of balancing physical fitness with rest, even for celebrities with demanding schedules. Govinda’s experience serves as a reminder that wellness practices like yoga and pranayama can be more effective and sustainable than intense workouts.
Govinda continues to recover at home and has expressed gratitude to his fans for their concern and support.
