The much-anticipated grand event for SS Rajamouli's upcoming film GlobeTrotter, starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is all set to take place at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on Saturday, November 15. Fans and cinephiles are eagerly awaiting a glimpse into the world of GlobeTrotter, a project that promises to bring together some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.
In the film, Priyanka Chopra will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu, portraying the role of Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran steps into the shoes of Kumbha. The makers have teased audiences with first looks of the characters, and excitement continues to build as the premiere event approaches.
Rajamouli has taken the event experience to an entirely new level. Instead of standard entry passes, the team has issued “passports” for attendees, creating a thematic tie-in with the globe-trotting concept of the film. Several images and videos of these specially designed passports have gone viral on social media, sparking curiosity and admiration among fans.
The director took to social media to address logistical details, emphasizing that entry to the open-air event will remain restricted. “The RFC main gate will be closed on the event day. Follow the instructions on your entry pass. Cooperate with police and security to ensure a hassle-free, safe, and happy experience for everyone,” Rajamouli wrote, while also expressing excitement at welcoming fans to the event.
For fans unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on JioHotstar from 7 PM IST on November 15. International audiences can tune in at 5:30 AM PST / 8:30 AM ET. The event will also be available live on YouTube, making it accessible to a worldwide audience.
Adding to the allure of the event, Shruti Haasan will perform live, lending her voice to a Telugu song featured in the film. She recently shared a post highlighting a special anecdote involving composer MM Keeravaani, further amplifying excitement among fans.
Mahesh Babu, in a video shared on social media, encouraged audiences to witness the culmination of months of work. “For months you have been asking and now it’s time. On November 15, the world will take its first step into our story. Experience what we have been creating with all our hearts,” he said.
SS Rajamouli, celebrated globally for blockbuster films like the Baahubali franchise and RRR, continues to redefine cinematic spectacle in India. With GlobeTrotter, he promises a story filled with adventure, high-octane action, and emotional depth. By combining innovative marketing strategies with immersive fan experiences, the filmmaker ensures that anticipation around the project remains at fever pitch.
As Hyderabad prepares to host the grand celebration, fans are eager to witness not only the first glimpses of the film’s world but also live performances, interactive experiences, and the star-studded presence of the film’s lead cast. The GlobeTrotter premiere is shaping up to be a landmark cinematic event, blending storytelling, technology, and spectacle in true Rajamouli style.
