Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) is proud to announce the upcoming Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024 (GWFD 2024), scheduled for November 26 and 27 at the Madinat Jumeirah. This marks the third time the DWE has hosted this prestigious global event, reaffirming the UAE's dedication to championing women's empowerment.
The forum aims to unite international leaders, experts, and representatives from global organizations, creating an invaluable platform to discuss women's critical roles in today's society and to exchange best practices and policies. Central to this year's discussions are themes that focus on the future economy, global partnerships, and impactful innovations, designed to catalyze dialogue and actionable solutions.

Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Women Establishment, emphasized the transformative role of the UAE's leadership in empowering Emirati women. She stated that the remarkable global standing and exceptional achievements of Emirati women across various sectors embody the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s visionary approach to women's empowerment. She underscored the continuous support received from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as vital to their success.
The GWFD 2024 will feature three main themes: “Future Economies, Future Societies,” “Collective Engagements, Collective Actions,” and “Impactful Technologies, Impactful Innovations.” These themes will guide discussions aimed at developing resilient societies, promoting gender balance, and exploring the transformative impact of technology on women and society. Sheikha Manal noted that this forum has emerged as a powerful global voice in championing the role of women across diverse development paths. The forum will host various sessions, workshops, and high-level discussions to generate solutions and proposals that enhance women's participation in different sectors. By showcasing successful experiences and practices, the forum will inspire governments and organizations to further advance women's empowerment.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of DWE, emphasized the importance of addressing current global challenges as opportunities to enhance women's roles. She stated that these discussions are crucial to ensuring that women remain at the forefront of progress and innovation. The forum aims to develop policy frameworks and proposals that can guide governments in improving women's participation across economic, governmental, and technical sectors.
