Palestinians in Gaza are eagerly awaiting news from ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel. They hope these talks will stop the fighting that's been going on for seven months. Hamas is sending a team to Egypt for more discussions, trying to reach a deal with help from international mediators.
Shuaib Abu Jahal, 38, lives with his family in a tent in Rafah, south Gaza. They want the fighting to end so they can go back home in northern Gaza. He lost his father because the hospitals couldn't treat him well due to the damaged facilities.

Abu Jahal thinks the new ceasefire offer is better because it promises people can return home. He wants Hamas to agree to this deal quickly because people are dying every day.
More than 34,600 Palestinians have died, and 77,867 are hurt since the war began in October. In the last 24 hours alone, 26 people died and 51 were hurt.
Akram Al Shawa, 43, wants to go back to northern Gaza too. He had to leave with his wife because she was having a difficult pregnancy. He lost his home twice before in wars.
Al Shawa thinks Hamas should listen to what people want because they're part of the nation. He believes this war won't end soon but hopes for peace eventually.
Hussain Mohammed, 37, also wants to return home. He's tired of living in a tent with his family. He thinks accepting the ceasefire deal now is better than facing more losses later on.
Mohammed hopes Hamas will think about the people and agree to the deal for everyone's sake. Gaza has suffered a lot already, and people can't bear any more loss.
