Dubai has unveiled an ambitious plan to transition its primary airport from Dubai International to Al Maktoum Airport within a decade. This move aims to accommodate the growing aviation needs of the emirate. Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, emphasized the significance of this transition, highlighting the expanded opportunities it would offer for the airline's expansion. He revealed plans for flydubai to commence operations in Jebel Ali within the next few years, leveraging the potential of Dubai World Central.
