Father Assaults 13-Year-Old Daughter in Amethi: Disturbing Case

A tragic incident has emerged in Amethi, where a father is accused of raping his 13-year-old daughter while intoxicated. According to the police, the assault occurred on August 8 when the victim was alone at home. 

The girl reported the crime to the authorities on Wednesday evening, a week after the incident. The delay in reporting was due to the death of her mother, who passed away on August 10, just two days after the alleged assault. The girl had been unable to approach the police sooner because of this personal tragedy.

Circle Officer Atul Kumar Singh confirmed the details of the complaint, stating that an FIR has been lodged against the father. Efforts are currently underway to apprehend him. The victim’s mother, who had been staying at her sister’s home in Delhi, was unable to support her during this critical period, contributing to the delay in filing the complaint.
