The Family Care Authority (FCA) has forged a groundbreaking partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) to introduce the Case Management Professional Development Program. Spearheaded by NYU’s Silver School of Social Work, this initiative aims to elevate the proficiency and expertise of FCA's case managers, positioning them as top-tier social sector professionals globally. This collaboration represents NYU’s Silver School of Social Work's inaugural venture into the social sector realm in the UAE, reaffirming FCA's dedication to investing in premier education to enhance Abu Dhabi's social sector landscape.
The tailor-made curriculum of the program is designed to empower FCA's case managers with international best practices, enriching the UAE's social services sector. It will offer a comprehensive approach, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of case management practices, grounding their methodologies in cultural contexts, and bolstering their theoretical frameworks. The program will cover fundamental aspects of case management, followed by specialized training focusing on vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, the elderly, and children.
