While three matches might seem too early to judge, RCB's bowling attack has shown a lack of variety, suggesting a potentially challenging IPL season ahead. In the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, RCB's bowlers failed to contain the opposition's aggressive batting lineup, despite defending a competitive total of 183.

Mohammed Siraj and Alzarri Joseph were unable to maintain tight lines, conceding boundaries to KKR's batsmen. Although Vysakh Vijayakumar performed admirably, utilizing knuckle balls and pace-off deliveries to take wickets, more experienced bowlers failed to consistently employ similar tactics.

According to Vijayakumar, the dew factor played a role, making the ball come onto the bat quicker in the second innings. However, RCB's bowlers struggled to adapt, allowing KKR's bowlers to capitalize on slower deliveries effectively.
