Al Dhabi Al Mheiri, a 10-year-old girl from the UAE, has made history by becoming the youngest Emirati to win the Diana Award. This award is given to young people who have made a big impact on society. Al Dhabi was recognized for her work in encouraging children to read and promoting the importance of books. Her efforts to help young minds grow through literature have earned her this international recognition.

At just 10 years old, Al Dhabi is not only an award-winning author, but she is also the youngest Emirati entrepreneur. She is also a publisher and holds Guinness World Records. Her achievements are impressive for her age and inspire many people.

The Diana Award and Al Dhabi’s Project

The Diana Award, named after Princess Diana, is one of the highest honours a young person can receive. It recognizes young people between the ages of 9 and 25 who have made positive contributions to their communities. Al Dhabi won this award for her amazing project, Books from Children to Children. This project is run through a company called Rainbow Chimney, which Al Dhabi founded with her mother, Mouza Aldarmaki.

The goal of the project is to help children express their feelings and creativity by writing stories. Al Dhabi has already published 53 children’s books, including books for children with special needs like autism or visual impairments.

Al Dhabi explains, “My project helps children share their voices by letting them write and publish their books. It also provides a peaceful place for children to express their feelings and develop their creativity.”

Al Dhabi lives in Abu Dhabi and goes to school at the Al Ain British Academy. She also helps blind children by providing them with Braille books so they can enjoy reading too.

A Love for Reading and Record-Breaking Achievements

Al Dhabi started reading when she was just three years old, and she has read over 7,000 books. She is currently reading the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, a classic story.

In addition to her work as an author and entrepreneur, Al Dhabi has achieved several Guinness World Records. In October, she became the youngest female newspaper columnist. She also holds two other records for being the youngest female to publish a bilingual book and a book series.

Her first record was set when she was seven years old, and her second record came when she was eight. These accomplishments show how determined and talented Al Dhabi is, even at such a young age.

A Family of Young Achievers

Al Dhabi’s younger brother, Saeed, holds the record for being the youngest person to publish a book. Her sister, Al Maha, is the youngest female author in the world. Together, this talented family was featured in the official Guinness World Records book.

Al Dhabi’s mother, Mouza Aldarmaki, is very proud of her children’s achievements. She said, “Al Dhabi is not only inspiring the community but also motivating her younger siblings.” The family’s success shows their strong commitment to education and creativity.
