Under the care of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the 16th EmiratesSkills National Competition (ESNC) will happen from April 28 to 30, 2025, at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Sheikha Fatima is the head of the General Women’s Union, the President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and the leader of the Family Development Foundation. At the same time, on April 28, 2025, the TVET Leaders Forum will also be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. This meeting will bring together important people who work in education and job training.
This year’s competition will be held under the theme “AI for All.” It will show how important new machines and smart tools are for the future of jobs and learning.
The forum will talk about how smart tools can help fix problems in the world. It will also show how better ways of teaching and training can help build a stronger and smarter future for the UAE.
Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, the head of ACTVET, said the Centre wants to be the best place for learning new things. He said they want to give young Emiratis the right skills to get good jobs in the future. He also said the forum will teach how smart machines can help schools and companies work better and faster.
The three-day competition will show the talents of the best young Emiratis. Young people will compete in 34 different work and skill fields. Some of these skills are Aircraft Repair, Machine Control, Mechanical Drawing, Car Repair, Website Making, Graphic Design, Electronics, and more.
The ESNC is a very important event that helps young people in the UAE learn work skills. It is open for Emiratis aged 16 to 21. For Aircraft Repair, competitors can be up to 24 years old.
There will also be competitions for younger children aged 12 to 15. They will compete in nine skills like Computer Coding, Robot Making, Car Repair, Public Speaking, Painting and Decorating, Electronics, Electrical Work, Mechanical Drawing, and Health and Care. This will help young children grow a strong spirit for learning and working hard.
Also, there will be a friendly competition between young people from five other countries. Emirati youth will join young people from around the world to compete in 13 different skills. This will help them get ready for bigger contests in the future.
