Emirates has unveiled plans to expand its retrofitted Boeing 777 service to four additional cities, including Zurich and Riyadh from October 1, 2024. The airline will also enhance services to Geneva and Brussels, marking the introduction of fully refreshed Boeing 777 cabins on all flights to these destinations.
Starting October 1, 2024, Emirates will deploy its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights EK 85 and EK 86 to Zurich. This move will also see the introduction of the upgraded Boeing 777 to Riyadh on flights EK 819 and EK 820. This marks the debut of Emirates’ Premium Economy class in the Middle East and GCC region.
Additionally, from September 22, 2024, Geneva will become the first city in the Emirates network to feature Premium Economy seats and newly updated Business Class cabins on all flights, with the retrofitted Boeing 777 operating on EK 89 and EK 90. Brussels will follow on October 9, 2024, with Emirates introducing its second retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK 181 and EK 182, operating six times a week.

The retrofit program includes upgrades to both Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft, enhancing the travel experience across all cabin classes. By the end of the year, Emirates plans to offer Premium Economy on 28 cities, with 25 aircraft already retrofitted and 17 more scheduled for an upgrade by December 2024.
The updated Boeing 777 features a four-class configuration, including six or eight First Class suites, 38 Business Class seats arranged four-abreast, 24 Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 layout, and 260 Economy Class seats.
In Business Class, the new Boeing 777 offers spacious seats with enhanced privacy and a fully flat 180-degree recline for uninterrupted rest. Each seat, with a 20.7-inch width, includes aisle access, a personal mini-bar, a wooden dining table, multiple device charging ports, and new seat control buttons. The dining experience features Royal Doulton fine bone china, exclusive cutlery, premium champagne and wine, and award-winning in-flight entertainment.
The Premium Economy class on the retrofitted Boeing 777 features 19.5-inch-wide cream leather seats with a 6-way adjustable headrest and a 38-inch pitch that tilts back 8 inches. Additional comforts include calf and footrests, accessible in-seat charging points, and a wooden dining and cocktail table. Premium Economy passengers will also enjoy elevated dining with Business Class-inspired elements, including a welcome drink, fine beverages, and gourmet dishes served on fine tableware.
Tickets for the retrofitted Boeing 777 services can be booked through emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via travel agents, both online and offline.
