Emirates NBD and DP World Unveil New Mastercard Corporate Card in UAE, Boosting Dubai's 2033 Economic Agenda

Emirates NBD, a prominent banking group in the MENAT region, and DP World, a leading provider of global supply chain solutions, have unveiled a new co-branded corporate card in collaboration with Mastercard. This innovative credit card is tailored to businesses operating across the UAE, particularly those utilizing DP World’s port and terminal services, customs, and logistics solutions.

The new card offers a range of benefits including business, travel, and lifestyle perks, designed to cater to various segments. It features a revolving credit facility with competitive interest rates and provides cashback on expenditures with no upper limit. Cardholders will also gain access to the exclusive Dubai Trade Priority Call Centre, which offers 24/7 support.

In addition, the Emirates NBD DP World card connects users to over 150 merchant discounts through Mastercard’s Easy Saving Specials (ESS) platform. This global program offers time-limited merchant discounts redeemable at checkout, helping businesses to lower costs and drive growth. The card also allows users to manage payments more effectively, reduce transaction costs, and improve cash flow.

Deepak Chandran, Group Head of Retail Products at Emirates NBD, emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting UAE businesses and trade, stating, “Our partnership with DP World to launch this co-branded Mastercard card unites two leading UAE brands, providing an essential tool for the region’s business sector and supporting the UAE economy.”

Ahmad Al Hassan, Chief Financial Officer at DP World GCC, highlighted the card's role in enhancing operational efficiency and financial flexibility for businesses. “Our collaboration with Emirates NBD exemplifies our dedication to offering innovative solutions that bolster global trade and drive economic growth,” he said.

Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Country Manager for the UAE and Oman at Mastercard, noted that the new card aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda 2033. She said, “The Emirates NBD DP World co-branded Mastercard corporate credit card reflects our shared commitment to advancing Dubai’s trade volumes and facilitating seamless transactions. This product is a key outcome of the Mastercard - Dubai Digital City Partnership, aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business.”
