Currently, Emirates boasts a pilot workforce of over 4,400 individuals. In 2023, the airline recruited more than 420 pilots through various recruitment programs, including Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, and First Officers. As part of its ongoing hiring initiatives, Emirates is seeking candidates for several pilot positions:
1. First Officers – Non-Type Rated:
Emirates is inviting applications from First Officers who are non-type rated, meaning they have experience solely on turboprops or jets. These pilots will undergo comprehensive training to operate Emirates' extensive fleet of 144 Boeing aircraft serving over 140 destinations worldwide. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to fly the new Boeing 777-Xs, set to join the fleet in 2025. The basic salary for non-type rated First Officers is Dh31,341.
2. Accelerated Command Programme for Boeing 777s:
Emirates has expanded its Accelerated Command Programme (ACP) to include its fleet of Boeing 777s, previously exclusive to the A380 fleet. The starting basic salary for pilots enrolled in the ACP is Dh36,446 per month.
3. Direct Entry Captain – A350 Fleet:
The airline is seeking Direct Entry Captains to command its forthcoming A350 fleet comprising 65 aircraft. Emirates has raised the base salary for new recruits on both the A350s and A380s. Direct Entry Captains will receive a basic salary of Dh46,670 including benefits.
4. Experienced First Officers:
Emirates offers enhanced salary packages for First Officers with over 4,000 flying hours on modern Airbus fly-by-wire or Boeing aircraft. The basic salary for experienced First Officers is Dh31,341, with an enhanced package reaching Dh33,781.
Pilots at Emirates enjoy competitive tax-free salaries, profit-sharing opportunities, and extensive benefits, including spacious accommodations, education allowances, and comprehensive medical coverage. They also have access to a provident fund and receive financial advisory services.
This initiative underscores Emirates' commitment to attracting and retaining top aviation talent while offering lucrative opportunities for career advancement and personal growth.
