Emily Osment Files for Divorce After 5 Months of Marriage to Jack Anthony

Emily Osment has filed for divorce from her husband, Jack Anthony, only five months after they got married. The Hannah Montana star made this decision on March 7, 2024. She said the reason for the divorce was “irreconcilable differences,” which means they could not agree on important things in their marriage.

In the court papers, Emily said that she and Jack separated on December 7, 2024. They do not have any children, but they had signed a prenuptial agreement, which is a contract to settle things if they ever got divorced.

Emily talked to PEOPLE and said that when making big decisions, like relationships or work, you have to be sure. She also mentioned that their plan for marriage did not work out. Emily and Jack got married in October 2024, after getting engaged in June 2023.

Jack Anthony, who has a degree in cognitive science and economics, works in strategic partnerships. He is also a music producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter. Jack shares his music on SoundCloud under the name "Farnia," but he keeps his personal life private.

At first, Emily kept Jack’s identity a secret, but after their wedding, she started tagging his Instagram account in her posts. The couple loved traveling and even got engaged while on vacation in Yosemite National Park in California. Emily confirmed their marriage during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, saying they got married on October 2, 2024.
