Dubai is set to host the 30th Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress from September 16 to 20, 2024, a major event expected to draw 20,000 participants. The Congress will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center and marks the first time the event is hosted outside Europe, North America, Australia, and East Asia. This milestone underscores Dubai’s growing influence in the field of intelligent transportation.
Organized by ERTICO – Intelligent Transport in Europe in collaboration with ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific, the event will focus on cutting-edge advancements in smart mobility and transportation technology. It will feature 800 speakers and 200 sessions covering a range of topics including innovations in intelligent transportation, sustainable mobility, smart city integration, autonomous vehicles, and data-driven decision-making.

Key sessions include discussions on automated transport across various modes, national connectivity and cybersecurity, government policies and sustainable planning, clean mobility innovations, customer-centric technologies, and the integration of big data with smart technologies in urban mobility.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has emphasized its commitment to fostering innovative transportation solutions and sustainable mobility. The RTA’s involvement in hosting this Congress highlights Dubai’s strategic vision and pioneering advancements in transportation, positioning the city as a global leader in the field.
