Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has officially declared that today, Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM, marks the deadline for submitting registration forms for the highly anticipated 12th edition of the “Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament.” This event is recognized as the largest of its kind, organized under the esteemed patronage of H.H. Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al-Maktoum, the wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Scheduled to take place from October 16 to October 30, 2024, the tournament aims to attract and showcase women’s sports talents while promoting a culture of exercise and participation in women’s sports across the UAE.

This year’s tournament will feature competition in eight different sports disciplines, which include bowling, running, cycling, padel, badminton, shooting, an obstacle challenge, and a new addition for this edition: the 3x3 basketball competition.
The Organizing Committee is set to conduct the draws for the padel, shooting, obstacle challenge, and 3x3 basketball competitions on Monday, October 14, at 10:00 AM at Thukher Sports Club, located in Al-Safa Park. The draws will take place in the presence of female coordinators from various governmental and semi-governmental entities, as well as representatives from the private sector.
The tournament will kick off with the bowling competition, scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Dubai International Bowling Center in Al-Mamzar. Following this, the running competition will occur on Thursday, October 17, at EXPO City Dubai. The padel competition is slated to take place at Just Padel Club in Rashid Port from October 18 to October 20. Badminton matches will be hosted from October 21 to October 24 at Al-Nasr Sports Club.
Cycling enthusiasts will compete on Friday, October 25, at EXPO City Dubai, while the shooting competition is set for Saturday, October 26, at the Fazza Shooting Range. The obstacle challenge will take place on Sunday, October 27, at Gravity Gym Club. The tournament will culminate with the 3x3 basketball competition, which is scheduled to run from October 28 to October 30 at Al-Nasr Sports Club.
With an array of sports and events, the 12th “Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament” is anticipated to be a celebration of women’s empowerment, athletic talent, and community spirit in Dubai.
