Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), along with Etihad Rail — the company behind the UAE’s national railway network — has officially opened a new flyover on Al Yalayis Street. This new bridge is 1.8 kilometers long and has three lanes, designed to make traffic smoother for people traveling to and from Dubai Investment Park.
The new flyover also includes two important slip roads. One slip road lets drivers coming from Dubai easily enter Dubai Investment Park. The other slip road allows drivers leaving the park to head towards Sheikh Zayed Road. These additions are meant to make driving easier, faster, and safer for everyone using the road.
This project is part of the RTA’s bigger plan to help trains run smoothly on the UAE’s railway network. The trains will travel along the middle part of Al Yalayis Street, and the flyover helps by keeping cars and trains separated. This way, both trains and vehicles can move safely without getting in each other’s way.
Building this flyover shows how RTA and Etihad Rail are working together to support the UAE’s national railway project. This railway is one of the country’s most important transport systems, helping to move goods and people in a way that is safe, modern, and reliable. It also supports the UAE’s goal of building a sustainable and strong transport network for the future.
Etihad Rail has also promised to keep working closely with other UAE authorities to make sure the railway system meets the highest global standards. Their aim is to offer excellent transport services that connect different parts of the country, making travel easier and safer for everyone.
The new flyover is also expected to help trains move even more smoothly, connecting important routes and making it easier for people and goods to travel to and from Dubai. This project is part of Etihad Rail’s larger plan to strengthen community ties, boost business, and support the UAE’s economy.
Looking ahead, there are plans to extend the flyover even further. It will soon connect to Jumeirah Golf Estates, with a two-lane road going in each direction. This will help improve traffic even more and provide better road links for this important area.
