The report also shared some exciting news about the expansion of the education system in Dubai. Ten new private schools opened during this academic year, which is part of Dubai’s Education Strategy E33. This strategy aims to create at least 100 new private schools by 2033. These new schools are helping to meet the educational needs of the city’s growing and diverse population.

Her Excellency Aisha Miran, the Director General of KHDA, highlighted that Dubai is a popular choice for families looking for high-quality education, and for educators who want to be part of shaping future generations. She said the growth in student numbers, including Emirati students, and the opening of new schools show how strong Dubai’s education system is. The E33 Strategy is expected to continue supporting this growth by creating a more inclusive, diverse educational environment. This will ensure that every student, no matter their background or ability, can receive a top education and develop the skills needed for success in the global world.

One of the main goals of the E33 Strategy is to provide Emirati students with access to world-class education, improve their well-being, and encourage lifelong learning. As part of the strategy, the city is also focusing on innovation and student wellbeing to make sure Dubai’s education system meets the needs of its ambitious goals under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Social Agenda 33.

Dubai’s private schools offer 17 different curriculums, giving families a variety of options to choose from. The UK curriculum is the most popular, with 37% of students enrolled in it. The second most popular is the Indian curriculum, followed by the US curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB), and a hybrid UK/IB curriculum.

The report also shared that 33,210 Emirati students are currently enrolled in private schools in Dubai. Among Emirati families, the most popular choice is the US curriculum, followed by the UK and IB curriculums.

Another important detail from the report is the growth in the number of teachers in Dubai’s private schools. There are now 27,284 teachers working in these schools, which is a 9% increase from the previous year. This shows that Dubai is attracting top teaching talent from all over the world, further enhancing its reputation as a global education hub where teachers can grow and advance in their careers.
