Dubai Police Commemorates UAE Flag Day with Pride and Unity

In a vibrant display of patriotism, the Dubai Police proudly celebrated the UAE Flag Day, joining the country's leadership, citizens, and residents in honoring this significant occasion. The flag was raised high at the Dubai Police headquarters, a symbol of unity and pride for the nation.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, alongside senior officers, general directors, and employees of the force. The event featured a poignant moment as Lt. Gen. Al Marri raised the national flag while the Dubai Police Musical Band performed the national anthem, joined in song by police personnel, including senior and non-commissioned officers.

Participation in the Flag Day celebration extended across all general departments and police stations, highlighting the inclusive spirit of the event. Among those present were members of the Government Initiatives Councils of Dubai Police, the Dubai Mounted Police, students from the Dubai Police Academy, and luxury patrols, as well as students from Hemaya Schools.

During his address, Lt. Gen. Al Marri underscored the significance of UAE Flag Day as a national occasion that embodies loyalty and belonging, fostering unity and solidarity among all community members. He stated, “The Emirati flag symbolizes our national identity and pride, representing a remarkable journey of progress and prosperity.” 

He elaborated on the deeper meaning of raising the flag, noting that it represents more than just a symbol. “It embodies our love and loyalty to the nation, reminds us of conquered challenges, celebrates our achievements, and reaffirms our dedication to building a brighter, more prosperous future for ourselves and the generations that follow,” Al Marri added.

The celebration was not only a tribute to the flag but also a reaffirmation of the commitment to the values it represents, strengthening the bond among the people of the UAE.
