Dubai Chambers recently welcomed a special visit from the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Prof. Hristijan Mickovski. The meeting aimed to explore new ways to build stronger business ties between Dubai and North Macedonia.
Top officials from both sides led the discussions, including H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, and H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers.
During the meeting, both sides agreed that they wanted to grow their economic partnership. They also want to help companies from both countries do more business together and explore new investment opportunities.

H.E. Al Mansoori said this visit was an important step toward achieving common goals. He shared that Dubai Chambers is ready to support Macedonian businesses and help them expand by using Dubai’s great location, top-quality infrastructure, and business-friendly environment.
He also said that Dubai-based companies can benefit from new business and investment opportunities in North Macedonia. This partnership will help businesses in both countries grow and succeed.
The two sides talked about increasing trade and investments. They focused on key products that North Macedonia exports to Dubai—such as electronics, clothing, vehicles, machines, and fruits and vegetables. In return, Dubai sends products like electronics, medical devices, toys, artificial fibers, and perfumes to North Macedonia.
In 2024, non-oil trade between the two sides reached about US$ 52.2 million. Both parties said they want to raise this number by working together more closely.
Another highlight of the meeting was the rise in the number of Macedonian companies doing business in Dubai. By the end of 2024, there were 47 Macedonian companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. That number grew by 52% compared to the previous year. In the first three months of 2025 alone, five more companies joined, bringing the total to 52.
The leaders said they are happy with this progress and look forward to more growth in the future. They are hopeful that this partnership will open new doors for businesses and boost trade between Dubai and North Macedonia.
