Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), in collaboration with Dubai Municipality (DM) and the Road and Transport Authority (RTA), has unveiled an exciting opportunity for artists to contribute to the emirate's vibrant cultural landscape. Through an open call initiative, artists are invited to submit proposals for new installation artworks to adorn the main roundabouts in Dubai, aligning with the Dubai Public Art strategy.
This initiative underscores Dubai Culture's commitment to fostering artistic innovation and enriching the city's visual identity and cultural scene. Emirati artists, practitioners, designers, architects, and UAE-based creatives are encouraged to unleash their creativity and propose unique ideas for captivating art installations.
The selected artworks will grace several prominent roundabouts across Dubai, serving as dynamic expressions of the city's growth and development. By integrating art into urban spaces, the initiative aims to enhance communication and engagement within the community, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan's vision for sustainable urban development.
