Dubai Chambers recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) with the shared goal of solidifying Dubai's status as a premier global hub for digital investments. This strategic agreement aims to capitalize on Dubai’s advanced infrastructure and business-friendly environment, providing a pathway for companies to launch and expand internationally from Dubai. The collaboration is set to open doors to significant opportunities within key digital economy sectors, empowering businesses to benefit from a comprehensive suite of services and support packages as they navigate new markets.
Under this MoU, DMCC will extend special business setup support to companies introduced by Dubai Chambers, with a keen focus on sectors such as cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence (AI), and gaming. These businesses will gain exclusive benefits, including the opportunity to participate in DMCC’s knowledge series events, which offer valuable insights into market trends and innovations. Additionally, these companies will have access to DMCC’s compliance hub and tax clinics, providing essential advisory services free of charge to ensure regulatory alignment and fiscal efficiency.

Khalid Al Jarwan, Vice President of Operations and Acting Vice President of Digital and Commercial Sectors at Dubai Chambers, highlighted the importance of the partnership. He stated, “Through this agreement with DMCC, we aim to cement Dubai’s position as a global hub for the digital economy and a leading incubator for innovative companies specialising in future-facing sectors. This comes as part of our commitment to attracting global investments to Dubai and developing an advanced digital business ecosystem in the emirate.” His remarks underscored Dubai Chambers’ dedication to fostering a vibrant, competitive landscape for the digital economy and supporting companies that pioneer the next generation of technological advancements.
Feryal Ahmadi, Chief Operating Officer at DMCC, echoed this vision by emphasizing the economic contributions of DMCC in attracting international capital. "In contributing 15% of Dubai’s annual foreign direct investment, DMCC has become a core driver in attracting international capital and investment flows to the emirate – in particular for areas of the digital economy such as AI, crypto, and gaming," she said. "Our partnership with Dubai Chambers will provide dedicated support for global companies at the forefront of Web3, together further positioning Dubai as the chosen destination for innovation-focused investments.” Ahmadi’s comments underscored DMCC’s role in positioning Dubai as a magnet for digital innovation and as a competitive landscape for global investment.
The partnership aligns seamlessly with the objectives outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), an ambitious plan designed to double the emirate's economy over the next decade and establish Dubai among the world’s top three global cities. Dubai Chambers plays a pivotal role in advancing the agenda by promoting a favorable business environment, attracting international businesses, and supporting the growth of a dynamic digital economy in Dubai. This includes not only advocating for local economic growth but also fostering a supportive climate for international businesses and investments.
Dubai Chambers' strategic priorities are focused on enhancing Dubai’s business landscape, facilitating global business expansion, and driving innovation within the emirate’s digital economy. These efforts, combined with initiatives to improve advocacy and maintain excellence in institutional services, are all part of a broader mission to create a business ecosystem that is responsive to global trends and committed to sustainable growth.
