Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been recognized as the top cities for executive nomads, according to the latest Savills Executive Nomad Index report. Dubai has maintained its leading position for the second consecutive year, while Abu Dhabi has moved up to secure the second spot, climbing two places from the previous ranking.
Andrew Cummings, Head of Residential Agency for the Middle East at Savills, commented on the rankings, stating, “Dubai and Abu Dhabi are incredibly appealing to executive nomads because they offer everything you need to thrive both personally and professionally.”
The Savills Executive Nomad Index, which is published by the London Stock Exchange-listed real estate services provider Savills, evaluates 25 global destinations for long-term remote workers. The index highlights cities that offer a conducive environment for both work and lifestyle.

In addition to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, other cities that ranked in the top 10 include Malaga in Spain, Miami in the US, and Lisbon in Portugal. These destinations have become popular among remote workers due to their attractive beachside locations and high quality of life.
Executive nomads, who are often older and may travel with their families, place a strong emphasis on the quality of life in their chosen cities. This includes considerations such as healthcare, education, and overall safety, which are crucial for their well-being and professional success.
