Dubai AI Week 2025: A Global AI Event with 100+ Countries

Dubai is getting ready to host a huge international event called Dubai AI Week from April 21 to 25, 2025. This event is happening under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. It will welcome experts, leaders, and officials from more than 100 countries to talk about the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and the Dubai Future Foundation, this special week will bring together top minds and companies from around the world. The goal is to share knowledge, create new ideas, and show how AI can help make life better, improve government services, and grow economies.

A Global Gathering of Bright Minds

The event will include over 10,000 participants, more than 180 speakers, and over 150 sessions and workshops. There will also be 140+ activities happening across the city. Some of the biggest tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, OpenAI, Nvidia, and others will be part of it. Delegates from 15 countries including the USA, UK, India, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and Germany will also be present.

His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and leader at the Dubai Future Foundation, said that Dubai has become a global center for AI. He added that this event shows Dubai’s commitment to using AI in real-life ways and making it a part of future planning.

He explained that Dubai AI Week will help smart people from all over the world come together, share ideas, and build new tools that can help people. The event is also a great chance for government and private companies to work together and explore how technology can solve real-world problems.

What’s Happening During Dubai AI Week?

There will be 9 major events during the week, each focusing on different areas of AI. These events include:

  1. AI Retreat (April 21) – A private gathering at the Museum of the Future for over 100 top tech leaders, experts, and decision-makers to talk about challenges and chances in AI.

  2. Dubai Assembly for AI (April 21–25) – Held at AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers, this event will bring 2,500+ global leaders and showcase live AI demos and sessions from top companies.

  3. Global Prompt Engineering Championship (April 22–23) – Taking place at AREA 2071, this competition will have 24 finalists from 3,800 applicants worldwide, competing in AI art, gaming, coding, and video creation for AED 1 million in prizes.

  4. Dubai AI Festival (April 23–24) – Happening at Madinat Jumeirah, this event will gather 8,000 tech professionals, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors to network and create partnerships.

  5. Machines Can See Summit (April 23–24) – Organized with the help of the UAE AI Office, this summit will be held at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071, focusing on how AI can bring positive change.

  6. 8th International Conference on Education Quality (April 22–24) – At Grand Hyatt Hotel, this conference will include researchers, students, and experts talking about how AI can improve education and public services.

  7. HIMSS Executive Summit (April 23) – At Emirates Towers Hotel, this event will explore how AI can help in healthcare, such as improving medicine and using data more effectively.

  8. Dubai AI Hackathon (April 25) – A hands-on challenge at AREA 2071, where participants will design smart AI tools to solve real problems.

  9. AI in Schools (April 21–25) – In partnership with KHDA, this program will teach students and teachers about AI and its importance, helping young people become ready for the future.

Dubai AI Week is not just about experts. It’s also about students, startups, teachers, investors, and governments. Every event is made to help these groups learn and grow in the world of AI. From creating smart policies to encouraging new talent and forming new business ideas, the event touches every part of the AI journey.

Dubai AI Week is also a great platform for forming new partnerships, both within the UAE and globally. Partners include Digital Dubai Authority, DEWA, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and the UAE AI Office, along with leading global companies.
