Drunk Passenger Held for Molesting Air Hostess on Flight

A drunk man was arrested for misbehaving with an air hostess during an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Shirdi, Maharashtra. The incident happened on Friday afternoon, and police shared the details on Sunday.

According to the police, the man touched the air hostess in an inappropriate way near the toilet area of the aircraft. Shocked by his actions, the air hostess quickly informed her crew manager. After the plane landed at Shirdi airport, the crew reported the incident to the airport security team.

The man was then taken into custody and brought to Rahata police station. There, the police registered a case against him for molestation. A medical check confirmed that the man had been drinking alcohol.

Rahata Police later gave the man an official notice regarding the case.

IndiGo airline also responded to the incident. They said, “We are aware of what happened on flight 6E 6404 from Delhi to Shirdi on May 2. A passenger behaved badly with a cabin crew member. Our team followed the proper rules, and the man was declared an unruly passenger. Once the flight landed, he was handed over to the security team. At IndiGo, we always aim to provide a safe and respectful experience for everyone on board. We are sorry for the trouble this caused.”

The case is now being handled by the police, and further investigation is underway.
