Disha Patani is well-known for her bold fashion choices, and she made a statement once again at the launch of the second edition of MAMI Select. This time, she paid tribute to one of Bollywood’s most iconic looks from the past, recreating the famous outfit worn by Madhuri Dixit in the song "Dhak Dhak Karne Laga."
Disha’s version of the look was modern, bright, and full of confidence. She wore a sparkling orange saree that caught the light with every movement. The saree was paired with a full-sleeved blouse that had beautiful embroidery and a deep sweetheart neckline. This blouse was a more modern twist on the halter-style blouse that Madhuri wore in the movie Beta.

The way Disha wore the saree was a nod to the 90s style, with the low drape highlighting her toned midriff and curves. Her makeup was soft and glowing, letting the outfit shine. She kept her accessories simple, wearing just a pair of earrings, and let her long, voluminous hair flow down her back. This added to the overall glamour of the look.
Some people compared Disha’s version to the original outfit, but what made hers stand out was how she mixed the old style with her modern twist. The bright orange color, the sparkle, and the bold look all came together to create a glamorous, confident appearance.
Recreating a classic Bollywood look can be tricky, but Disha showed that old styles can still be fresh and fashionable. Whether you think she copied the original perfectly or added her touch, her look got a lot of attention — and that’s what makes it a true fashion moment.
