Dubai, UAE – 14th April 2025: His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), officially opened the 24th edition of the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, Dubai Derma 2025. The much-anticipated event kicked off its three-day conference at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together top professionals from the fields of dermatology, laser treatments, and aesthetics. As the largest event of its kind globally, Dubai Derma continues to be a key platform for innovation in the dermatology and medical aesthetics sectors.

During the opening, His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, accompanied by several prominent figures from the healthcare and dermatology sectors, toured the exhibition halls to examine the cutting-edge technologies and developments shaping the future of dermatology and laser treatments.

Joining the tour were His Excellency Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region and Chairman of Dubai Derma, Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Professor of Dermatology and Chairman of the Dubai Derma Conference, Dr. Hassan Galadari, Head of the Scientific Committee for Dubai Derma, and Dr. Abdul Wahab Al Fouzan, President of the Arab Academy of Dermatology & Aesthetics and President of the Kuwaiti Society of Dermatologists, along with other distinguished guests.

In his remarks, His Excellency Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani emphasized: “Dubai Derma 2025 is a distinguished platform for showcasing the latest advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. It provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with leading experts and explore the most innovative developments in medical and pharmaceutical industries. The event’s growth is evident, with a record number of global participants this year.”

The conference boasts an impressive line-up of over 170 scientific sessions and 502 specialized lectures covering the latest in dermatology. Notably, the event will highlight 30 scientific posters that showcase pioneering research and advancements in dermatology from around the world. Topics range from cutaneous leishmaniasis in the Gulf region to the use of artificial intelligence in empowering dermatologists, alongside numerous innovations in both clinical dermatology and cosmetic technologies.

Dubai Derma 2025 is expected to attract over 25,000 visitors from 114 countries, reinforcing its position as a premier international platform for dermatology. The event serves as an essential venue for collaboration and business development, providing new opportunities for investment in the dermatology sector.

The accompanying exhibition will feature 1,875 international brands and over 500 companies from across the globe. International pavilions from South Korea, France, China, Turkey, and Italy will also be present, offering a global perspective on advancements in dermatological care.

This event marks another milestone for Dubai as a leading hub for international medical conferences. Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Chairman of the Dubai Derma Conference, noted, “Dubai Derma 2025 continues to grow its reputation as a global leader in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The three-day conference will bring together top experts to explore the latest scientific breakthroughs, technologies, and foster meaningful knowledge exchanges. Dr. Hassan Galadari, Head of the Scientific Committee for Dubai Derma, remarked: “Innovation in dermatology goes beyond just technology; it represents a commitment to improving patient outcomes through scientific excellence. Dubai Derma is at the forefront of these breakthroughs, driving collaboration and dialogue among leaders in the field.”

In addition to the scientific sessions, the event features the "Industry Partner Session," where key thought leaders will present strategic insights into the future of dermatology, highlighting emerging scientific and technological trends. Exhibiting companies will also host specialized workshops and training sessions, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience with the latest innovations.

Dubai Derma 2025 will continue until April 16, offering unparalleled networking opportunities, scientific learning, and exploration of new advancements in dermatology and aesthetics.

The event is organized annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, in cooperation with the Pan Arab League of Dermatology, the Arab Academy of Dermatology Aesthetics (AADA), the GCC League of Dermatologists, and the Emirates Dermatology Society (EDS).
