Sean “Diddy” Combs, a famous music star, told a New York court that he did not do the new bad things people are saying about him. He is now facing new and more serious charges, including ones about sex trafficking and prostitution.

These new charges were added to the case on April 4. The court papers now talk about a second woman, called Victim 2. This brings the total number of charges against Diddy to five.

The papers say Diddy found and brought this woman and made her do sex acts for money. The government says he knew she was being forced or tricked, but still made her do it. They also say he helped others do the same things.

Diddy’s lawyers asked for more time to get all the proof from the other side. The judge gave them until April 16 to ask for more time. If the court says yes, the trial could start later than planned.

But the judge in the case, Arun Subramanian, said strongly, “We are a fast-moving train going to trial.” That means he doesn’t want any more delays.

Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said that one of the important witnesses did not give all her emails. She only gave the ones she picked. He says this is not fair.

Diddy’s lawyers also want to ask people who may be on the jury questions about hard topics like drugs, abuse, and sexual things. But the government says the questions should be simple and only about what is needed to pick a fair jury.

Diddy says he did not force anyone to do anything wrong. He is now staying in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

There will be another court meeting on April 18 before the full trial starts.

The first case, which started in September 2024, also says Diddy was part of a big illegal group doing crimes. That charge is still part of the case.
