His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, recently attended a networking event organized by the UAE-Singapore Business Council during his official visit to Singapore. The event aimed to showcase the investment opportunities available in Abu Dhabi and promote the UAE's business-friendly environment, reinforcing the economic and trade relationship between the two nations.
Sheikh Khaled highlighted the robust economic, trade, and investment ties that have developed between the UAE and Singapore. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening their comprehensive economic partnership, reflecting the mutual commitment to expanding collaboration across key sectors. The Crown Prince noted that both countries share aspirations to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), advanced technology, education, energy, urban planning and smart cities, sustainable economic development, and research and development.
During the networking event, Sheikh Khaled engaged with business leaders and CEOs from prominent Singaporean companies to discuss strategies for enhancing economic and trade cooperation. The discussions focused on exploring ways to attract more investments to Abu Dhabi and the UAE through joint efforts involving both public and private sectors.

Accompanying Sheikh Khaled at the event were several high-profile officials, including His Excellency Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; His Excellency Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development; His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement; His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and His Excellency Jamal Abdulla Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore.
The event underscored the UAE's position as Singapore's leading trading partner in the Middle East and North Africa region and highlighted the potential for further collaboration and investment in various sectors.
