Big Explosions In Iran as Israel Launches Major Air Attack

On the morning of June 13, loud explosions were heard in Tehran and several other cities across Iran. These blasts came after Israel launched a massive airstrike, targeting Iran’s military and nuclear facilities.

According to reports:

A major attack took place at Natanz, one of Iran’s main nuclear sites.

Nearly 200 fighter jets were used to strike more than 100 important locations.

Many top military officers and nuclear scientists are believed to have been killed in the strikes.

Iran’s Reaction:

In response, Iran sent around 100 drones towards Israel. However, most of them were shot down by Israel’s air defense systems.
Iran’s top leaders have called the attack a serious crime and warned that a strong answer will follow.

Israel’s Statement:
Israel’s Prime Minister said the operation, called “Operation Rising Lion,” was launched to stop Iran from becoming a bigger threat with its nuclear and missile programs.
He said the airstrikes were necessary for the safety and future of the region.

World Response:
The United Nations has asked both countries to stay calm and avoid more fighting.

Countries like France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and China have raised deep concerns.

The United States has said it was not involved in the attack but is watching the situation closely.

Flights Suspended, Region on Alert:
Sirens were also heard in Jordan and nearby regions.

Flights in both Iran and Israel have been cancelled or delayed.

Peace talks between the U.S. and Iran, planned to take place in Oman, are now at risk of being cancelled.
