Extensions beyond the initial 7 days can be applied for at the immigration office in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and a hassle-free stay for visitors.

The entry permit issued by the Bhutan Immigration Department for Indian citizens is provided at no charge, further facilitating travel and promoting cultural exchange between Bhutan and India.
