Bhumi Pednekar came to the trailer launch of her new Netflix show The Royals on Tuesday. She wore a beautiful all-white dress that caught everyone's eyes. Many people on the internet said her look reminded them of old fashion styles from the 1990s and 2000s. It looked like what beauty queens Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta wore when they won Miss World and Miss Universe in the year 2000.

Bhumi’s white dress was made of silk. It had no straps and showed off her shoulders. The top part of the dress was tight and shaped her body well. It had a small slit at the back so she could walk easily. The dress reached the floor. What made it special was the long silk dupatta (a scarf) she wore with it. She draped it over her arms, just like beauty queens used to do.
People on Instagram noticed her look. A page called Diet Sabya posted a picture of her and wrote, “Bhumi Jenner is bringing the dupatta with gown back for the girlies… Not for everyone pls don’t try it.” Some people said she looked like Marilyn Monroe. Others said she looked like Priyanka, Lara, and Rani Jeyraj, who joined Miss World in 1996.
Bhumi finished her look with fancy jewelry. She wore shiny pointed shoes, a diamond choker with bird shapes on it, rings on both hands, and diamond earrings. Her hair was left open and styled in soft waves. Her makeup had soft pink shades. She wore winged eyeliner, pink lips, glowing cheeks, and long lashes.
The show The Royals stars Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Sakshi Tanwar, and Bhumi herself. It is directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana. The show will be on Netflix on May 9.
