The exhibitions are planned by Marco Senaldi, a modern art expert and philosopher. He has worked to show the deep meaning and creative ideas behind The Prism's work. The exhibitions will use light, colors, and shapes in creative ways, making the artwork feel alive and interactive. The art will include circular patterns and shiny surfaces that reflect the viewers’ images, making them a part of the artwork.
Along with the art shows, BFAF will host special activities for the public. These include sound healing sessions, meditation, yoga, artist talks, and hands-on workshops. These events will help people connect more deeply with the art, promoting relaxation and self-reflection.
Michaela Watrelot, the Curator and Director of Exhibitions at BFAF, said she is excited to share The Prism's work. She praised the artist for using light and space in new and exciting ways. She explained that his shiny panels and polished surfaces make the art feel more active and personal. She hopes the exhibitions will spark conversations and bring people in Abu Dhabi together through art. She also said the public programs will help people of all ages enjoy and understand the art better.
Stefano Simontacchi, also called The Prism, said he is happy to show his work at BFAF after successful exhibitions in Italy, New York, and at the Abu Dhabi Art Fair. He shared that his art comes from deep thinking and a wish to help people find peace and meaning in their lives. His works aim to make people feel grateful, inspired, and connected to their inner selves. He uses circular shapes and special lighting to create a calming and meaningful experience, hoping to bring peace and reflection to the viewers.
The Project Oneness exhibition is divided into three rooms, each representing a different idea. The first room shows the connection between humans and the universe, focusing on the idea of duality. The second room removes the boundaries of shape and color, creating a flowing and free experience. The third room features four artworks that represent the basic elements of water, earth, air, and fire. By the end of the exhibition, viewers will feel a stronger bond with nature and the world around them.
The second exhibition, Trust, Gratitude and Love Journey, shown in the Annex Gallery, is about inner peace and energy. It shows how values like trust, gratitude, and love can help people feel more connected to the universe. Using modern materials and timeless symbols, the artworks encourage visitors to think deeply about their place in the world and reflect on their life and emotions.
The exhibitions will be open at the Bassam Freiha Art Foundation from March 13 to August 31, 2025. Visitors can enjoy the art shows and take part in the public activities to fully experience The Prism’s unique artistic vision. For more details, they can visit the foundation’s website at bfaf.ae.
