Singer Armaan Malik has postponed his much-anticipated concert in Delhi, which was scheduled to take place on November 15, following the tragic blast near the Red Fort that shook the city on November 10. The fatal incident, involving a car explosion, claimed at least 12 lives and left several others injured, prompting event organisers across the NCR region to reassess safety measures.

Armaan Malik announced the postponement on Instagram, expressing regret and concern for fans. “Delhi, I regret to inform you that my concert on November 15th has been postponed due to recent events. I promise to share more updates soon,” he wrote. His message reflected both respect for the victims and a commitment to prioritising public safety.

Along with his statement, Armaan shared an official note, confirming that the Aiiidon Malik Live in Delhi show scheduled at Nexus Select Citywalk would not take place on the planned date. The note emphasised that the decision was taken keeping the welfare of attendees, staff, artists, and crew in mind. It further stated that the new date will be announced soon and assured fans that all previously purchased tickets on BookMyShow will remain valid for the rescheduled event.

The organisers reiterated that this move was essential given the gravity of the incident in Delhi and out of consideration for the victims and their families. They also urged people to stay safe and follow necessary precautions as authorities continue their investigations into the blast.

Actor Piyush Mishra also cancelled his Gurugram show, which was originally set for November 15, following the same tragic event. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he stated that the show would remain on hold until safety conditions improve. “Our Gurugram show on November 15 has been cancelled for now, following the unfortunate incident at Red Fort, Delhi. We stand with the city in this difficult time and will announce a new date once safety protocols permit,” he wrote, ending his message with the patriotic slogan, “Inklaab Zindabad, Jai Hind.”

Authorities reported that the November 10 blast near the Red Fort was a deliberate terror attack involving a vehicle that exploded close to one of the busiest areas in the capital. The impact was severe, resulting in multiple casualties and widespread concern. Investigations are still underway, with security forces on high alert in major public spaces, markets, and venues.

In the aftermath, several public events planned in Delhi-NCR have either been postponed or cancelled. Event organisers are working closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and to reassess the viability of upcoming gatherings.

For fans of Armaan Malik, the postponement brings disappointment, but many have expressed understanding given the circumstances. The singer’s statement has been widely shared, with supporters appreciating the emphasis on safety and solidarity.

Both Armaan Malik and Piyush Mishra are expected to announce new dates for their shows once security agencies provide further clarity on the situation. Until then, the entertainment community stands united with the people of Delhi as the city mourns the loss of lives and navigates the aftermath of the tragic attack.
