Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 6, 2024 – Arab Health, the biggest and most important healthcare event in the Middle East, is celebrating its 50th edition. The event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from January 27 to January 30, 2025. The theme for this year is “Where the World of Healthcare Meets,” bringing together healthcare experts and innovators from all over the world.
In 2024, Arab Health achieved amazing results. Deals worth more than AED 9 billion were made. The event had over 58,000 visitors and 3,627 exhibitors from more than 180 countries. This shows how important and successful the event has become in the global healthcare industry.
Arab Health started in 1975 with only around 40 exhibitors. At first, it focused on medical products but grew over the years. By the 2000s, it became one of the top events for the healthcare sector.
For the 2025 event, over 3,800 exhibitors are expected to participate. The event will take up even more space, including a new area called Al Mustaqbal Hall. The number of visitors is expected to reach over 60,000, with many exhibitors showing new and exclusive healthcare products.
Solenne Singer, Vice President at Informa Markets, said:
"As we celebrate 50 years of Arab Health, it’s a great time to look back at how healthcare in the UAE has improved. The UAE has made smart investments, used new technologies, and worked with global partners to make healthcare better. Arab Health has been an important part of this success."
New additions at Arab Health 2025 include the World of Wellness and Healthcare ESG conferences. These will focus on health, wellness, and sustainability. Visitors will be able to explore new treatments, health tourism ideas, and projects that aim to make the world healthier.
The Smart Hospital and Interoperability Zone will showcase new technologies that are changing healthcare. Visitors will see how technology can work with medical equipment to improve patient care.
The Transformation Zone will have talks, product displays, and the Innov8 Start-up competition. Last year, the winner was VitruvianMD, which won $10,000 for their technology that mixes biomedical engineering with artificial intelligence.
Ross Williams, Senior Exhibition Director at Informa Markets, shared his thoughts on AI in healthcare:
"AI is still growing but is already making a big impact. It helps doctors make better and quicker diagnoses, which leads to better care. We will focus on how AI is changing healthcare at the Future Health Summit in 2025."
Arab Health 2025 will also have nine Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited conferences. These will cover important healthcare topics such as radiology, obstetrics, surgery, emergency medicine, and leadership. There will also be new conferences on topics like Women in Healthcare and Digital Health and AI.
The Arab Health Village will return, giving visitors a space to relax, eat, and network with others throughout the event.
Arab Health 2025 is supported by several government organizations, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, and the Department of Health.
The 50th edition of Arab Health promises to be a special event, continuing its mission to support healthcare innovation and bring together global leaders in the industry.
