Anant Ambani Completes 170-Km Padyatra on 30th Birthday

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Asia’s richest person Mukesh Ambani and a director at Reliance Industries Limited, completed a long and spiritual foot march called ‘padyatra’ on his 30th birthday, April 6. He walked an incredible distance of 170 kilometers from Jamnagar in Gujarat to the famous Dwarkadhish Temple.

Anant was joined by his wife, Radhika Merchant, and his mother, Nita Ambani, at the temple on the morning of his birthday. They all looked happy and proud as they reached the divine place together.

A Spiritual Journey with Special Meaning

Anant Ambani shared that this padyatra was very special to him. He said, “It’s my spiritual journey. I started this walk by taking the name of God, and I will finish it by taking His name too. I am thankful to Lord Dwarkadheesh for everything. I also feel grateful to all the people who walked with me during this journey.”

Anant’s wife, Radhika Merchant, also thanked everyone who supported Anant during his foot march. She mentioned that it was Anant’s wish to do this padyatra after their wedding last year, and now he has finally been able to fulfill that dream.

“Today is Anant’s 30th birthday. It was his wish to do this padyatra after our wedding. We feel proud to celebrate his birthday here at this sacred place. I thank all the people who blessed him and made this journey successful,” Radhika said.

A Father’s Support and Motivation

Anant also talked about his father, Mukesh Ambani, who encouraged him to go on this spiritual walk. He recalled the moment when he shared his plan with his father.

“When I told my father that I wanted to do this walk, he gave me a lot of support and strength. I am thankful to him for motivating me,” Anant said with a smile.

Anant’s Role in Reliance and His Family

Apart from his spiritual journey, Anant Ambani is also active in business. He serves as a director on the boards of several companies under Reliance, including Jio Platforms Limited, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Reliance New Energy Limited, and Reliance New Solar Energy Limited. He also works with the Reliance Foundation since 2022.

Anant’s mother, Nita Ambani, who is the founder-chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, shared her feelings after his padyatra. She said, “As a mother, I feel very proud to see my youngest son Anant complete this special padyatra to the divine place of Dwarkadhish. For the past 10 days, many young people have joined him, spreading our rich culture. I pray to Lord Dwarkadhish to give Anant strength and blessings.”
