However, Rayudu swiftly refuted these claims, denying any such remarks regarding Gaikwad, CSK, or Dhoni. He took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to dismiss the allegations, clarifying that he was not commentating on the mentioned day but rather attending to activities at his farm, such as picking mangoes. Rayudu urged responsible journalism, urging against the spread of unfounded rumors.

Following their consecutive losses to Lucknow Super Giants, CSK finds themselves outside the playoff positions, currently occupying the fifth spot in the standings.
