Last night in London, Alia Bhatt graced the Hope Gala, a charity event aimed at supporting underprivileged Indian youth in collaboration with the Salaam Bombay Foundation. Alongside comedian Rohan Joshi, musician Harshdeep Kaur, philanthropist Natasha Poonawalla, and director Gurinder Chadha, she added star power to the occasion.

The Mandarin Oriental, the gala's venue, shared glimpses of Alia's stunning looks. She captivated onlookers with two distinct styles—a glamorous ethnic ensemble and a contemporary attire.

On the red carpet, Alia turned heads in a maroon velvet dress adorned with diamantes, accessorized with a sapphire and diamond choker necklace. Her wavy hairdo and minimal makeup exuded elegance.

For the main event, Alia donned a breathtaking cream, embroidered lace sari by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. This vintage sari, handcrafted in 1994, took 3500 hours to complete, featuring delicate pearl detailing on the back and paired with a matching halter-neck blouse. Emerald earrings, dewy makeup, and voluminous hair perfected her classic Indian look.

The Hope Gala drew prominent philanthropists and industrialists from India and London, supporting the Salaam Bombay Foundation's efforts to empower Mumbai's at-risk children through educational programs.

Notably, Alia, a British citizen born in the United Kingdom, graced the event.

On the professional front, Alia recently wrapped up shooting for "Jigra," co-starring Vedang Raina, scheduled for release in September 2024.
