The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a pivotal meeting with influential figures from the food sector to discuss advancements in supply chain effectiveness and to enhance collaboration between governmental and private sectors.
This gathering, hosted at the Chamber's headquarters, was led by Director General Salem Al Suwaidi. It saw participation from prominent officials and representatives from food production facilities, corporations, and retail outlets, underlining the critical role this sector plays in securing food supply.
During discussions, Al Suwaidi stressed the importance of deeper cooperation between the public and private sectors. He urged for innovative and proactive measures to bolster the efficiency of food supply networks in alignment with global standards.
He also recognized the contributions of governmental bodies in overseeing market conditions, preserving price stability, and ensuring that vital food products remain available.
Al Suwaidi commended food manufacturers and companies for their efforts in increasing production capacity and implementing innovation to facilitate self-sufficiency.
The meeting scrutinized a forward-thinking action plan aimed at fortifying supply chain resilience. Topics included optimizing coordination methods, improving storage and transport efficiencies, and adopting modern solutions to tackle upcoming challenges.
Participants deliberated on initiatives to further empower business organisations, aligning their efforts with the strategic goals of Ajman's long-term development vision.
This initiative embodies Ajman's dedication to establishing a sustainable and effective food framework through robust public-private alliances.
