He was caught trying to smuggle heroin into the country. Police at the border stopped him before he could bring the drugs inside. He had hidden the drugs inside his body, a way of smuggling called body packing.

The Saudi Ministry of Interior said in a statement that this shows how serious they are about stopping drugs. They said they will keep working hard to keep people safe from drugs, which are very harmful.

The ministry also said that anyone who tries to bring or sell drugs in Saudi Arabia will get strong punishment. They said drugs are dangerous for people, especially for the youth, and they hurt the whole society.
