ADNOC, in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) aimed at developing a shared service model to enhance productivity and innovation through artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies. This agreement marks a significant step towards fostering collaboration between the two entities across multiple key areas.

Under the terms of the agreement, ADNOC and DMT will explore collaborative opportunities in urban planning, infrastructure development, and the standardization of systems, procedures, and business support services. The partnership also emphasizes knowledge exchange in strategic areas such as harnessing advanced technologies, talent empowerment, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. These initiatives aim to create sustainable opportunities for individuals and local communities to thrive.

The agreement was signed in a formal ceremony attended by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC Group. Also present was His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The signing was executed by His Excellency Dr. Saif Al Nasseri, Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, and Saif Al Falahi, Executive Vice President of ADNOC Group Business Support & Special Tasks.

This partnership underscores DMT’s dedication to building strategic alliances that elevate Abu Dhabi’s status as a premier destination for living, working, and investing by improving the quality of services for all community members.”

This agreement builds upon ADNOC’s longstanding strategic partnership with DMT, which has previously focused on establishing community service centers. The collaboration aims to enhance service delivery and initiate an expert exchange program across various fields, conducting workshops and programs to share best practices.

Saif Al Falahi emphasized ADNOC’s commitment to the well-being of Abu Dhabi, stating, “Abu Dhabi’s wellbeing is at the heart of ADNOC. This strategic agreement between ADNOC and DMT supports our commitment to develop systems and standards to streamline processes for the critical projects our people need. This collaboration will empower both parties to share knowledge and drive sustainable economic and social progress nationwide.”

ADNOC remains dedicated to contributing to the social and economic development of the UAE. The company is actively involved in enhancing infrastructure within local communities, focusing on improving roads and public facilities while integrating cutting-edge technologies and innovations. This partnership with DMT represents a significant commitment to ensuring that Abu Dhabi continues to thrive as a dynamic and progressive emirate.
