Actor Michael Madsen, well-known for his iconic roles in Quentin Tarantino's films such as "Kill Bill: Volume 1," "Kill Bill: Volume 2," and "Reservoir Dogs," was arrested in Malibu, California, following an alleged domestic battery incident involving his wife, DeAnna Madsen. The arrest took place after authorities from the Malibu Sheriff's Station responded to a call at the couple's residence.
Madsen, 66, was charged with a domestic battery misdemeanor under Penal Code 243(e)(1) of U.S. law, which pertains to allegations of force or violence used against a cohabitant. According to a report by Variety, Madsen has since been released from custody after posting a $20,000 bond.
In a statement, a representative for Madsen commented on the situation, stating, "It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both."

Michael Madsen and DeAnna Morgan tied the knot in 1996 during a break in Madsen's shooting schedule for the film "Donnie Brasco." The couple shares three sons: Luke, Kalvin, and Hudson. Tragically, their son Hudson passed away by suicide in January 2022.
Madsen's career took off with his unforgettable performance as Mr. Blonde in Quentin Tarantino's 1992 debut thriller "Reservoir Dogs." In the film, Madsen's character is notorious for his chilling scene where he dances to Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle With You" while torturing a hostage police officer during a botched heist.
Throughout his career, Madsen has been a consistent presence in Tarantino's films, portraying memorable characters like the washed-up assassin Budd in "Kill Bill: Volume 1" and "Kill Bill: Volume 2," as well as the deceitful cowboy Joe Gage in "The Hateful Eight." He also made a notable cameo in Tarantino's most recent film, "Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood."
Beyond his work with Tarantino, Madsen has had a prolific career, appearing in a wide range of films. Some of his notable credits include "Thelma and Louise," "Donnie Brasco," "Sin City," "Mulholland Falls," "Wyatt Earp," and "Iguana." In recent years, Madsen has continued to work steadily, taking on roles in various direct-to-video productions.
As this situation unfolds, fans of the actor are left hoping for a positive resolution for both Michael and DeAnna Madsen.
