During the week, students faced challenges like spotting fake videos, handling false phone calls, and uncovering misleading stories. They worked in small teams to find the truth and create honest stories. The group included participants from 20 countries and schools around the world, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke to the students at the start of the week. She talked about how new technology can help the planet but also create problems. She explained that while some people benefit from these changes, others may face challenges. She encouraged the students to share these stories with care and truth.

Before Simulation Week, the students spent 12 weeks in training. They attended classes on writing stories, checking facts, creating videos, and more. They also learned from experts and leaders in business, media, and technology, who shared their knowledge and experience.

Many students said the program helped them understand the importance of honesty and accountability in storytelling. They also gained new skills and learned creative ways to tell stories. The program partnered with the Higher Colleges of Technology to give students academic credits, helping them prepare for future careers.

The next program will open for applications in mid-2025. It will continue to help young storytellers learn and grow, giving them the tools they need to succeed in sharing truthful and impactful stories. For more information, visit the CMA website.
