IndiGo's expansion in flight services signifies a significant boost in connectivity, as it will now operate 56 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from 8 different cities in India. This move aims to facilitate increased travel, trade, and tourism between the two nations.
Vinay Malhotra, the head of global sales at IndiGo, expressed the airline's commitment to enhancing customer experience by providing superior connectivity and accessibility to explore new destinations. He emphasized IndiGo's dedication to delivering affordable, punctual, and hassle-free travel services across an extensive network.
The introduction of the new flight service to Kannur aligns with the airline's objective of offering diverse travel options to passengers, especially during the busy summer vacation season. This initiative coincides with the goals outlined in the Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030, which aims to attract more visitors to the emirate by enhancing travel and tourism infrastructure.
