Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Presidential Court, Abu Dhabi is set to host the Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2025 from September 27 to October 3, 2025. This significant event is being organized by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).
ESI 2025 is designed to celebrate science and innovation, welcoming young innovators from across the globe to engage in a variety of interactive activities, workshops, and cultural and scientific tours, in addition to the main exhibition. The event reflects Abu Dhabi's ambition to position itself as a leading hub for embracing innovation and scientific initiatives, making it a preferred destination for significant global events.

With less than a year to go until the event kicks off, Abu Dhabi is inviting young innovators aged 13 to 25 to take part. This gathering aims to create a dynamic platform for exploring smart solutions and leveraging artificial intelligence to drive positive societal changes.
Organizing ESI 2025 aligns perfectly with ACTVET’s vision to establish vocational and technical education pathways as the primary choice for UAE nationals. The initiative is geared towards developing a skilled workforce that is dedicated to lifelong learning and effectively contributes to the nation’s sustainable development goals.
His Excellency Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of ACTVET, expressed pride in hosting ESI 2025 in Abu Dhabi. He highlighted that preparations for this important event are already underway, emphasizing the alignment with the vision of the UAE's leadership to attain the highest standards of excellence in the global innovation landscape. Dr. Al Shamsi stated, "We aim to direct the energies of youth towards scientific exploration and creativity. Through this forum, we hope to inspire innovation among youth both locally and globally, inviting participants from around the world to share their experiences and creativity in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics."
The ESI 2025 event seeks to cultivate a culture of innovation within the UAE, ensuring that future generations foster a love for creativity and develop a keen interest in scientific and cultural fields. This gathering will be held under the auspices of MILSET, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that promotes scientific culture among youth.
Participants at ESI 2025 will showcase their innovations across five primary categories: Biological and Health Sciences, Pure and Applied Sciences, Environment and Ecosystems, Engineering, Computer Science and Robotic Applications, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The event is poised to provide an invaluable opportunity for those engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs to exchange experiences, learn best practices, and experience Abu Dhabi's high standards for hosting major international events.
