The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) and Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) have started a project to hear what people think about air, noise, and bad smells in Abu Dhabi. This project will help make better plans and rules to improve life for everyone in the city.
The project asks people to share their thoughts about air quality and noise before making new rules. The goal is to include what people need and want in these decisions. The project looks at outdoor and indoor air, noise problems, and bad smells to fix these issues together for a better life.

A survey is being used to ask people about their experiences with air quality and noise. It also asks if they know about these issues, how it affects their health, and how to make things better.
People can join by answering the survey online on social media. There will also be meetings where people can talk with experts, ask questions, and share ideas. These meetings will help everyone have a chance to speak.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of EAD, said it is very important to listen to the public when making decisions about the environment. She said air quality affects people’s health and everyday life. EAD collects a lot of information about air and noise every year to help with planning. She said that hearing from the public makes better rules that solve real problems and helps people feel part of the process.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed AlKhazraji, Acting Director-General of ADPHC, said they are happy to work with EAD to make air cleaner and reduce noise. He said air pollution is very harmful to people with breathing problems like asthma. He added that listening to the public gives good ideas to guide plans and help people learn more about these problems.
The team at EAD will study the answers from the survey. They will look for common ideas, worries, and suggestions. They will also check if people feel happy, upset, or neutral about these issues to make sure their plans are easy to understand. The results will help create strong actions to fix air and noise problems. The findings will also be shared with other government teams to work together.
This project shows that Abu Dhabi cares about what people think. It will make plans that improve health and the environment, making life better for everyone in Abu Dhabi.
