Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recently attended a jiu-jitsu event at the Zayed Sports Complex, where his daughter, Shamma, showcased her skills. Regarding the jiu-jitsu event itself, Mohamed Hussain Al Marzooqi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, spoke to local media about the impact of Sheikh Khaled’s presence. He noted, “His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended the championship yesterday, and his presence had a significant impact on the event, the organizers, and the athletes. It inspired the athletes to push even harder in future competitions.” During his visit, Sheikh Khaled not only watched several matches but also engaged with the athletes, taking photos and showing his support for the sport of jiu-jitsu.
