The National Health Insurance Company - Daman will implement adjustments to the health insurance policy, aligning with the updated regulations. These changes primarily focus on revising the co-payment structure for beneficiaries of the Basic Health Insurance Plan across diagnostic and laboratory services, in-patient care, and one-day medical procedures.

Key Updates:

1. Diagnostic Services: Beneficiaries will now incur a 20% co-payment for diagnostic services, encompassing laboratory tests and radiology. The maximum co-payment per visit is capped at Dh50.

2. In-patient Services and One-Day Procedures: A fixed co-payment of Dh200 will be applicable for each in-patient service and one-day procedure, with an annual cap set at Dh500.

3. Medication Coverage: Plan holders will benefit from medication coverage amounting to Dh1,500 annually, subject to a 30% co-payment fee.

Additionally, adjustments have been made to annual premiums based on specific categories:

- Domestic Helpers: Annual premiums for domestic helpers sponsored by UAE nationals, aged below 60 years, have been set at Dh750.

- Other Categories: The Basic Health Insurance Plan premiums for other demographic groups have been revised according to various age brackets.

These regulatory enhancements aim to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability while ensuring equitable coverage for all residents of Abu Dhabi.
